Javtalk Banishes Sweatpig
Javtalk have updated their policy and now there’s no talk allowed about sites that feature asian women. So naturally my site got the boot despite my contributions over the years.
I will have nothing more to do with Javtalk, ever. Except for the torrent downloads heh, that feature can’t be matched anywhere. Javjunkies are you listening? Get your torrent download system up to scratch!
Your still free to link to Sweatpig articles at Javtalk as usual though! Though your post will get deleted by mods.
I wish people reading this could move over to Scanlover and support this wonderful forum where you are free to discuss anything you want and without some of the trolls that hang around Javtalk.
I have updated the Where to Get JAV? section with this information.
EDIT 25 Oct: I emailed the administrator who runs JAVTalk and he has apologised and said that having my site in my sig is not against the rules. Why they even removed it in the first place is strange. I may reconsider my stance against JAVTalk.

BOO to javtalk for banishing your site, I think they’re doing it because they think that ppl may find other sites that is better and will move away from them. But I think that talking about other sites will make javtalk well-known because people will think that it is a great place to find good info.
Overall, jav discussion sites are relatively rarer for the english-speakers
Oh and I saw you have the sponsor javparadise banner on the right hand side. i have bought off them before and I recommend them to anyone - service and reliability is good; sometimes communication may not be as professional, but overall they’re good.
What a bunch of shit-fuckers. I don’t like their attitude: they’re making money by selling pirated copies of JAVs on disc, they even want to charge a fee for forum users and then they’re scared like pussies that someone might talk about other sites. Fucking hypocrites.

Yowser, I’m gonna quote you on that javparadise comment and add it to the jav resource section. (well, unless you object!) Excellent feedback.
Javparadise seems like the best out there for JAV trading/cdr’s along with asianscreens.com but given that Javtalk and asianscreens.com are run by the same person, I do not want to promote asianscreens, even though their service is excellent!
I understand that Javtalk needs money to run, and this money comes from asianscreen sales, but I doubt linking to other sites will affect their earnings. I even promote their damn sites for god sakes. Oh well, their loss.

Javtalk has some wonderful members too bad mods have their heads up their asses sometimes.

JAVTalk’s admins are pricks. I only go for the torrents, nothing more. ScanLover has far better discussion boards and Ryuuga is far cooler than the JAVTalk ops.

Just wondering…does your girlfriend/wife (I don’t know which one it is) know about you running this site? If she does, does she mind at all? I mean if I were a woman, I’d certainly wouldn’t like it if my husband started a site on JAV news…not that I’m saying it’s bad…

Yeah, asiansthetic.com is a good recommendation.
Wife. Lol, no she doesn’t know, but the ironic thing is, she kept recommending I start up one (we were discussing making money from blogging), she was thinking it’d be a great idea. Boy, that was a close call.
She has caught me buying stuff before (goods to give away here) and that didn’t turn out too well. Naturally because of this situation I have very little time to devote to this site, certainly not as much as I would like. (well unless it starts paying off for me somehow! Then I could blog all day on Sweatpig! - I will have to tap into the Japanese market itself though for this. My written Japanese is pretty awful though, might be worth a try someday.)
Following that last post, I was wondering if you can tell us more about yourself.
Of course I understand that you might want to keep things hush-hush but it would be nice to know more about the man who’s doing an awesome job around here!
Well, that’s odd. But might explain some things. I never would have known about Javtalk without your site pointing me to them (and I’ve even checked out asianscreens before but never noticed the forum). I’ve seen surfed a few asian actress/JAV star fansites before but none of them linked me through to Javtalk.
Speaking of which, have you ever seen this one: www.asian-sirens.com?
Anyway, I’m grateful for your site because it seems you can actually read and understand Japanese. There are many other English JAV fan sites but most of them don’t understand the language. It’s nice to get more details about some of the vids.

Anyway, where is that policy changed? I looked but couldn’t find it. I completely understand your plight though; I’ve gotten into trouble for simply mentioning ScanLover on there before. I worked around it by saying that people could PM me for the name of “the site I’m talking about” and the staff couldn’t do anything. Now I guess I can’t do that. I received PMs from 5 or 6 members though.
This is actually my first time to your site, and I heard about this entry from a staff member at SLF, so I came to take a look. Good site, I must say.

Even with the apology I don’t know if I’ll return, but there are tons of newbies at Javtalk which I would like to direct to Sweatpig, so I’ll have to think about it.
Still, I’ve had many posts deleted by their mods which is highly annoying. But it’s my fault since I’m going against their rules and mentioning various places where you can buy stuff etc.

I understand your pain/frustration. The JavTalk policy seems way out of proportion since you yourself are not selling anything to compete with Polywog’s Asianscreens…but, I can understand that obviously supports an expensive site like JavTalk so that he can make some $ from Asianscreens. To me that seems like a fair trade off. On a personal note, I enjoy both your site and his, so I hope you won’t quit posting interesting tips there as well as here. Anyway, glad you are up and running again…and hope you can keep going!

This is Pollywogs from Javtalk. I haven’t been too involved with Javtalk too often as you can see from my posting counts there. In the end, I guess I am kind of responsible for the mods and the rules there. I really haven’t look at the site much….to be honest. I have been too busy working on Asianscreens.com and other ventures…. I apologize for the strict rules set by the mods at Javtalk. I, myself is pretty laxed…..I don’t really worry too much about other sites stealing my business…because I don’t think they can lol JK.
Msg me over at Javtalk when you have time….we can chit chat and when I have more time, I will reinvent Javtalk and definitely make it more friendly to members.
