The following interview is an extract from a Japanese Magazine last December (Flash Exciting).It was written in the magazine that Kotono would be making an AV debut next spring with Soft on Demand.

So what’s your reason for getting into AV?
Up until now, In my non-nude erotic work, I’ve never been completely nude. Rather than being half exposed, If I’m gonna go completely nude, I think I show can off more of my beauty perhaps. Also, I thought just showing off my body would be a bit boring, so I thought, AV, why not!? Another reason obviously is that I want to become famous.

Do you like to have sex in your private life?
Well I don’t hate it…

Incidently, when was your first experience?
When I was 16.

That’s pretty early isn’t it! How was it with?
I did it with my cramming school teacher. He was very popular.

How did you end up screwing your teacher?
The truth is, we were dating for long time already then we just ended up having sex.

Sow how was your first experience?
Well.. It didn’t feel good.. but I was glad it happened! (laughs)

When did you start enjoying sex then?
About two years later after having my first experience.

Was that with your teacher also?
No! No it was with someone else.

Was there a difference between having sex in front of the camera and in your private life?
Well in both cases it feels great. At first, I thought I would be extremely embarrasing to be filming in front of everyone, but when the time came, I’d had completely forgotten about this and I had sex just like in my private life.

Going by the name of Kotono Higashi, when her DVD “Petite Angel” was released, she was 17 years old. Well as you’re probably already aware, that’s sorted itself out now hasn’t it.. (bitter smile)

Furthermore, on the supplement DVD, “Kotono:Shock AV Debut!!” Non-nude Erotica 40 minutes!!!” was written on it, but when I looked through the DVD, there was no AV scene, only a swimsuit and soft nude scenes.

Kotono had a soft-core video previously released under Soft on Demand on the 4th August 2005 and on the 20th October 2006, released “Real:Definitely raw is best”. By this time, she tossed away her pants and there were scenes with mosaic filtering.

There were constant rumours about about whether or not she was going to do AV on 2-channel (popular Japanese BBS). Someone asked on Kotono’s blog whether it was true, but up until now, she has completely denied everything, but now we all know the truth.
